These changes have also been reflected in lifestyle trends, which have had a new impact on interior design. Against a backdrop of more remote working and solidifying interest in sustainable lifestyles, how will interior trends from 2025 to 2026 manifest themselves? Furthermore, in multipurpose spaces such as this, it is more important than ever to create a space that reduces stress and allows people to refresh. In interior design, a pleasant and comfortable space is created by incorporating ideas that facilitate relaxation, ideas such as the way natural light is incorporated, designs that use greenery, and the selection of a comforting, cozy color palette.
We believe that “material mix” styles in which a person combines the materials that they themselves feel pleasant are an interior style that fit nicely with flexible lifestyles.

Changes in Interior Design Brought by a Heightened Interest in Sustainability

2024 can be called the year in which interest in the question of the environment and sustainable lifestyles took root.
